Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Support safe mobility and use proper assistive techniques to prevent falls
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Accurately document care provided and keep resident records up to date
- Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote well-being
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S. as applicable
- Comfortable working with older adults and providing hands-on care
- Reliable, compassionate, and a team player who communicates clearly
- Willingness to complete facility-required screenings and onboarding
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care skills and familiarity with geriatric care principles
- Ability to perform safe transfers and assist with mobility
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and care reporting
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow care plans
