Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for inpatients and outpatients across Diagnostic Radiology and Special Procedures
• Assess and monitor patients during radiologic and interventional procedures, ready to respond to emergencies
• Administer medications and manage patient monitoring in accordance with clinical protocols
• Develop and follow clinical protocols, policies and procedures for interventional radiology care
• Coordinate total nursing care, collaborating closely with ancillary staff and the multidisciplinary team
• Deliver patient and family education that supports safe, individualized care
• Maintain professional standards of nursing practice and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact RN uploaded with profile is required
• Minimum 2 years current experience in Critical Care, ICU, ER or PACU
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• EPIC experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred; Conscious/Moderate Sedation experience will also be considered
• Traveler must have own vehicle and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• All medical compliance items must be completed within 5 days of offer acceptance

Education

• Active RN licensure required; ADN or BSN in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Assessment, patient monitoring and emergency response skills for radiology settings
• Strong communication and teaching skills for patient and family education
• Leadership and coordination abilities to manage nursing care in procedural areas
• Experience with Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and MRI is a plus
• Familiarity with interventional radiology procedures and moderate/conscious sedation
• Comfortable working in Epic electronic medical record
