Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor vital signs and report clinical changes promptly
- Document resident care clearly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to follow and update care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Support infection control practices and maintain a safe care environment
- Communicate effectively with families and team members to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts LPN license OR active Massachusetts RN license
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Comfortable working night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
- Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings is a plus
Education
- Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN) or an accredited Associate/Bachelor of Science in Nursing program (RN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and safety
- Basic clinical assessment and resident monitoring
- Charting and documentation best practices
- Infection control principles and wound care basics
- Time management, prioritization, and teamwork
- Compassionate interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
