Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor residents' comfort and safety, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers and ambulation while practicing safe body mechanics
- Support mealtime needs and basic feeding assistance when required
- Document care activities and observations accurately and timely
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families, offering respect and dignity
Qualifications
- GNA certification or equivalent (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) preferred
- Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role is a strong plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of ADLs, safe transfer techniques and infection control basics
- Ability to observe and report changes in residents' condition
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and clinical teams
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during a shift
- Comfortable with basic charting and following care plans
