Location: Bowie, MD
Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Second/Evening shift (specific days not provided)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, compassionate care to geriatric residents including assistance with activities of daily living
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility to promote independence and reduce fall risk
- Perform routine personal care tasks with dignity and respect for each resident
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and resident observations
- Work closely with the care team to implement individualized care plans
- Support a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents at all times
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification required
- Current state-required immunizations and ability to pass background checks
- Comfort working with older adults and a demonstrated commitment to compassionate care
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team
- Basic competency in documenting care and following care plans
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident-centered approaches
- Familiarity with safe transfer and mobility techniques
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
- Basic infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during a shift
