Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and compassion
- Support safe mobility and transfers, helping residents remain as independent as possible
- Assist with meal service and feeding support while monitoring intake and resident preferences
- Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the nursing team promptly
- Document care accurately and timely to contribute to effective care plans
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families, providing emotional support and companionship
Qualifications
- Required: GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) in good standing
- Preferred: CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Preferred: Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings
- Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
- Ability to pass facility background checks and required health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited GNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic resident care and ADLs
- Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfer techniques
