Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a medical unit
• Perform thorough assessments, document findings, and update care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
• Monitor patient status and escalate changes in condition promptly
• Support discharge planning and patient education to promote recovery

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse licensure (RN) required
• Proven reliability and ability to maintain a regular Monday-Friday schedule
• Clinical experience in medical-surgical or comparable medical settings preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong documentation skills and comfort using electronic health records
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

• Medical-surgical nursing principles and best practices
• Medication administration and safe practice standards
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Infection control and standard precautions
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time effectively
