Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (days vary / schedule not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Help with meal service and feeding, ensuring dignity and comfort during meals
- Observe residents closely and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Document care provided and resident status accurately and on time
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care that promotes resident well-being
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control policies
Qualifications
- GNA certification or state-approved nursing assistant credential (preferred or required depending on state)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or required by facility
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric settings is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required by facility
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) training program or equivalent credential
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) and resident assistance techniques
- Basic infection control practices and safe handling techniques
- Comfortable with documentation and electronic or paper charting
- Ability to work independently overnight and escalate concerns appropriately
- Teamwork and effective communication with nursing staff and allied disciplines
