Location: Bowie, MD
Shift Type: 3rd shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift; specific days not provided)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to older adults—assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents’ comfort and safety, reporting changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with simple clinical tasks under RN/LPN direction and ensure accurate documentation
- Create meaningful interactions—engage residents socially to support emotional well-being
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in resident care areas
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Class: GNA) — required as listed in the order
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Comfort working nights and supporting a geriatric population
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; a compassionate attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Basic patient care skills: transfers, ambulation assistance, ADLs
- Familiarity with charting and clear documentation practices
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the care team
- Calm, patient-centered approach to resident interactions
