Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time according to orders
- Perform focused assessments, monitor resident status, and document changes clearly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Communicate effectively with families and team members to support continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts required
- Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehab environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-centered approach
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained upon hire
- Ability to pass facility-required screenings and background checks
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
- Documentation and charting best practices
- Infection control procedures and safe patient handling
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
