Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time according to orders
• Perform focused assessments, monitor resident status, and document changes clearly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
• Communicate effectively with families and team members to support continuity of care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts required
• Comfortable working in a long-term care/rehab environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a resident-centered approach
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Ability to pass facility-required screenings and background checks

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or certificate from an accredited program
• High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
• Documentation and charting best practices
• Infection control procedures and safe patient handling
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with residents and families
