Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care on the PCU/MedSurg/Telemetry unit during night shifts
• Monitor telemetry and other vital patient data, intervening quickly when changes occur
• Perform thorough patient assessments and develop timely nursing plans
• Serve as charge nurse when assigned, coordinating care and guiding the team
• Float to other units as needed to support patient safety and staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions and excellent outcomes
• Document care accurately and communicate handoffs clearly at shift change

Qualifications

• Clinical nursing experience in MedSurg, PCU, or Telemetry settings
• Comfortable working independently and performing charge nurse duties
• Experience with night shift workflows and every-other-weekend rotations
• Willingness and ability to float to other units as clinical needs dictate
• Strong patient assessment and telemetry monitoring skills
