Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour nights; schedule varies and may include weekends (night shift)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care and assessment to acutely ill patients
- Manage and troubleshoot mechanical ventilation, including Servo I and Hamilton ventilators
- Perform and interpret ABGs and deliver effective airway clearance via CPT, CPAP and BIPAP
- Initiate and adjust ventilator settings in collaboration with the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all care accurately in the Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to coordinate patient-centered care
- Respond rapidly to respiratory emergencies and participate in trauma response when needed
- Contribute to unit quality improvement and best practice initiatives
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital RRT experience
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
- Meditech EMR experience preferred by the director
- Trauma experience is a plus and will be considered favorably
Knowledge & Skills
- Mechanical ventilation and ventilator modes
- ABG analysis and respiratory assessment
- Airway clearance techniques including CPT, CPAP and BIPAP
- Familiarity with Servo I, Hamilton ventilators, V60 and Astral devices
- Proficient use of Meditech EMR for documentation
- Strong critical thinking, teamwork, and patient-focused communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high-acuity environment
