Shift Type: Night shift, 3x12-hour nights per week (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), block schedule with every-other-weekend coverage
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical ventilation and titrate ventilator settings to meet patient needs
- Assess and perform airway management procedures, including extubation and tracheostomy care
- Interpret arterial blood gases and adjust therapy based on results
- Deliver inhaled therapies and manage nebulizers, BiPAP and CPAP treatments
- Troubleshoot high pressure alarms and lead weaning from mechanical ventilation
- Provide emergency support in the Emergency Department and pediatric settings as needed
- Administer respiratory-related medications and use a variety of medication delivery systems
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Epic and communicate changes to the care team
Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
- Valid Washington state respiratory license required
- BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapist experience
- Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and tracheostomy care
- Comfort working in Emergency Department and pediatric settings preferred
- Teaching hospital or Level I trauma experience is a plus
- COVID-19 vaccine not required per facility guideline
Knowledge & Skills
- Ventilator management and settings optimization
- Airway management and suctioning techniques
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Tracheostomy care and humidification/oxygen therapy
- BiPAP, CPAP, extubation and weaning strategies
- Nebulizer therapies and aerosol delivery systems
- Troubleshooting high pressure alarms and ventilator issues
- Familiarity with pediatric and adult critical care populations and emergency response
