Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the operating room for vascular and endovascular procedures
• Support surgical teams during complex vascular cases and maintain sterile technique
• Respond promptly and effectively to Level I trauma activations
• Participate in call rotations and provide coverage during holidays and weekends
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation, handoffs, and equipment readiness for specialty cases
• Contribute to a positive safety culture by following OR protocols and infection control practices

Qualifications

• RN experience in Operating Room nursing (RN-OR) with strong vascular and endovascular skills
• Experience at a Level I trauma center or equivalent high-trauma-volume setting
• Prior travel assignment experience is noted as a plus
• Willingness and availability for call, holiday, and weekend coverage
• Comfort with no block scheduling and variable case assignments

Knowledge & Skills

• Operating Room nursing practices and perioperative patient care
• Vascular surgery and endovascular procedure familiarity
• Trauma care workflow and rapid response in Level I settings
• Ability to work nights, take call, and cover holidays and weekends
• Adaptability to travel assignments and changing case schedules
