Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Variable Day Shift Hours (80 hours per 2 weeks) with 24/7 accountability (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the nursing team to deliver high-quality skilled nursing and long-term care
- Develop, implement, and enforce nursing policies, procedures and departmental objectives
- Coordinate nursing services with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of resident care
- Oversee case management activities including assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation
- Monitor and report monthly quality data (falls, skin, psychotropic meds, chart compliance) and drive improvement
- Provide continuing education and competency validation for nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations and The Joint Commission standards
- Champion infection control practices and resident advocacy across the unit
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice — active license required
- BSN required upon hire
- 2-4 years of supervisory experience in long-term care or demonstrated leadership/management in LTC
- Approved CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Additional certifications as required by unit (ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)
- Working knowledge of reimbursement systems, State and Federal regulations, and TJC requirements
- Strong leadership, staff management, communication and problem-solving skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BSN required upon hire

- Leadership and staff management in a clinical setting
- Clinical nursing practices for skilled nursing and long-term care residents
- Regulatory compliance with State, Federal and The Joint Commission standards
- Quality data collection and reporting (falls, skin integrity, psych meds, chart audits)
- Infection control best practices and implementation
- Case management and interdisciplinary care coordination
- Familiarity with reimbursement systems and budget oversight
- Resident advocacy, restorative care program oversight, and family communication
