Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality emergency nursing care during night shifts
• Assess and triage patients rapidly and accurately to prioritize care
• Administer medications, start IVs, and manage critical interventions safely
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate patient flow
• Document patient assessments and interventions clearly and promptly
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Respond effectively to emergency situations, staying calm under pressure
• Support unit efficiency through teamwork, communication, and a can-do attitude

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour night shifts
• Emergency department experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment skills
• Proficiency with IVs, medication administration, and basic procedures
• Monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and clear charting
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and prioritize under stress
• Patient and family education with empathy and clarity
