Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality OB/GYN and abdominal ultrasounds with accuracy and compassion
• Operate ultrasound equipment and apply best-practice scanning protocols for diagnostic clarity
• Document findings clearly and enter results into Epic EMR in a timely manner
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patient diagnosis and care plans
• Maintain patient comfort and privacy while explaining procedures in an approachable way
• Follow safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance procedures to ensure reliable imaging

Qualifications

• RDMS with OB/GYN and Abdominal (AB/OB) designations required
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience using Epic EMR for order entry and documentation
• Proven ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (new graduates will not be considered)
• Reliable professional with strong attendance and the ability to float to nearby sites when needed

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent
• RDMS certification (OB/GYN and Abdominal) as listed in qualifications

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in diagnostic ultrasonography for OB/GYN and abdominal exams
• Comfortable navigating Epic EMR and completing accurate electronic documentation
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner
• Efficient time management to handle a fast-paced workload without sacrificing quality
• Attention to image quality, anatomy, and protocol adherence
