Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Support social engagement and emotional wellbeing through friendly interaction
- Follow established care plans and document care accurately and on time
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
Qualifications
- GNA certification (required)
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics preferred but new grads with GNA training are welcome
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Valid state-required licensure or certification for GNA practice
- Reliable, patient-focused, and able to communicate clearly with residents and teammates
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Safe resident handling and mobility assistance techniques
- Basic infection control and medication awareness
- Strong observational skills and clear documentation practices
- Compassionate communication and de-escalation skills
- Teamwork and the ability to follow care plans
