Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening); specific days of week to be confirmed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to elderly residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate observations to nursing staff
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and safe mobility, promoting independence
- Support a respectful and comfortable environment by following care plans and facility protocols
- Document care activities accurately and collaborate with the care team to meet resident needs
- Engage residents in social interaction and meaningful activities to enhance quality of life
Qualifications
- Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification or equivalent required
- Current state-required certifications and clear background check
- Demonstrated experience working with older adults or in long-term care settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and work well within a care team
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a GNA training program or approved nursing assistant program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and geriatric care principles
- Familiarity with safe transfer techniques and infection prevention practices
- Comfortable with documentation and basic charting processes
- Calm under pressure, observant, and able to report clinical changes effectively
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
