Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of all radiation measurements across affiliated radiation oncology programs through routine checks and meticulous record-keeping
- Participate in departmental meetings and chart reviews to support procedural accuracy and continuous quality improvement
- Oversee brachytherapy procedures to ensure patient safety, procedural accuracy, and thorough documentation
- Assure proper commissioning and calibration of radiation equipment to maintain clinical excellence
- Contribute to administrative functions including NRC documentation, Radiation Safety Committee activities, and review of departmental policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate, compliant records and help drive a safety-first culture in radiation oncology
Qualifications
- Board Certification (Radiation Oncology) — as listed in the job posting
- Experience with radiation measurements, equipment commissioning, calibration, and brachytherapy
- Working knowledge of radiation safety practices and NRC documentation
- Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to patient safety and continuous improvement
