Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning while using safe body mechanics
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively during shift handoffs
• Build trusting relationships with residents and support their emotional well-being

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (T-CNA classification accepted as listed)
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred but new grads with training are welcome
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts (Sun, Wed, Fri)
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Pass required background checks and health screenings

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong hands-on resident care skills including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safe handling techniques
• Reliable communication and teamwork skills to coordinate care
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately complete documentation
