Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at the point of need
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess and monitor resident conditions and report changes promptly
• Document care and maintain accurate clinical records in the facility charting system
• Collaborate with nursing team, therapists and providers to create and follow individualized care plans
• Support a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control practices
• Coach residents and families with clear, respectful communication about care needs

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico (or ability to obtain state licensure quickly)
• Active BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Up-to-date immunizations per facility policy

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Comfortable with wound care, vital signs, and basic nursing procedures
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families and team members
• Solid documentation skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize, multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
• Respect for cultural diversity and experience working with tribal communities is a plus
