Roles & Responsibilities

• Support and assist the interventional team during cardiac catheterization procedures (LHC, RHC, PCI) with calm, expert technique
• Operate and prepare GE imaging equipment and monitor patients on ventilators during procedures
• Set up, troubleshoot and manage mechanical support devices including Impella and IABP
• Prepare sterile fields, instruments and implants (PPM) and ensure procedural readiness
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in Meditech EMR to maintain continuity of care
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and the cath lab team to deliver efficient, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience (explicit requirement)
• Hands-on experience with Impella and IABP and ventilator support (must-have)
• Familiarity with common cath lab procedures: LHC, RHC, PCI, PPM
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR and GE imaging equipment
• Ability to work independently with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to take an active on-call role for nights as required by the unit

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures and equipment
• Skilled in mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, IABP) and temporary pacing (PPM)
• Experience managing ventilated patients in procedural settings
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR workflows and GE imaging systems
• Preferred: vascular/peripheral intervention and EP (electrophysiology) experience
• Excellent communication, critical thinking and procedural teamwork
