Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT and X-ray equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging studies
• Position and prepare patients safely and compassionately for scans, ensuring clear imaging results
• Follow unit protocols and documentation systems (GE PACS, Meditech, Clario) to maintain accurate records
• Collaborate with ER nurses, MDs, and security to prioritize emergent imaging needs
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues for timely resolution
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff
• Provide clear, respectful patient communication and contribute to a positive patient experience

Qualifications

• ARRT-CT certification required
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
• Ability to perform both CT and X-ray exams independently
• Minimum 2 years of relevant radiologic technology experience (per job posting)
• Comfortable working independently in a new FSER environment and collaborating within a team
• Willingness to float to the main hospital campus for select shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with CT and X-ray imaging techniques and diagnostic imaging fundamentals
• Experience with GE Revo Maxima CT, GE XR AMX Navigate, and GE Definium Tempo Pro
• Familiarity with GE PACS, Meditech, and Clario documentation systems
• Strong patient positioning and radiation safety knowledge
• Ability to prioritize emergent cases and work efficiently in an ER setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently
