Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain appropriate staffing levels across clinical departments to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
• Prioritize and coordinate multiple clinical demands in a fast-paced environment
• Serve as a point of contact for staff, patients, families, and medical personnel with confident intervention skills
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to nursing teams, supporting both workflow and morale
• Ensure adherence to clinical policies and verification requirements, including NURSYS demographics and suicide prevention training
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to resolve operational challenges and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Washington nursing license or multistate nursing license (explicitly required)
• Completed 6-hour suicide prevention training (verification required)
• NURSYS verification of demographics (required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 4 years recent clinical nursing experience
• At least 1 year demonstrated nursing leadership experience preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical nursing expertise with strong assessment and intervention skills
• Staffing management and the ability to allocate resources effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork in high-pressure settings
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make timely decisions
• Familiarity with electronic health records such as Meditech (helpful)
• Professional demeanor when interacting with staff, patients, families, and providers
