Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate and support procedures in the cardiac cath lab, ensuring patient safety and smooth case flow
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation per unit protocols and collaborate with the care team on patient status
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (Philips and Siemens) during procedures
• Document procedures accurately using Merge and maintain clear, timely patient records
• Prepare and manage procedural supplies and ensure sterile technique is followed
• Assist with advanced cardiac procedures such as LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP studies, ECMO support, Impella cases, ICD/PPM implants, peripheral procedures and endovascular AAA
• Respond promptly to emergent situations and initiate appropriate interventions within your scope

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required
• ACLS and BLS required
• Experience circulating in a cardiac cath lab and competency with moderate sedation (must have)
• Experienced cath lab technologist skill set (unit performs complex cardiac and endovascular procedures)
• Familiarity with Merge documentation system preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and participating in on-call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and cath lab workflow
• Experience with Philips and Siemens imaging systems
• Proficient documentation skills using Merge or similar systems
• Skill in moderate sedation monitoring and airway/monitoring equipment
• Ability to support advanced modalities including EP, TAVR, TEER, ECMO, Impella and device implants
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced procedural environment
