Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and radiographic procedures using prescribed techniques, adjusting equipment settings and arranging immobilization as needed
• Prepare rooms, position patients, and handle contrast and supplies to ensure safe, efficient exams
• Clean and maintain x-ray and CT equipment daily and perform general maintenance tasks
• Execute quality control tasks and maintain accurate QC reports for procedures performed
• Support departmental operations with scheduling, answering phones, filing, and coordinating incoming patients
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure for patients and staff
• Participate in call assignments and collaborate with the imaging team to deliver excellent patient care

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA approved program
• ARRT Registered (required)
• CT certification with a minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area (required)
• MRI certification preferred but not required

Education

• Completion of formal radiologic technologist training in an AMA approved program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Computed Tomography (CT) and general radiography
• Skilled in patient positioning and radiation protection best practices
• Experience with equipment maintenance and diagnostic testing
• Comfortable performing quality control and maintaining QC documentation
• Scheduling and basic administrative office skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team and handle call assignments
