Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to deliver accurate patient results
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with precision and care
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment to ensure consistent performance
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media required for testing and maintain inventory
• Maintain accurate records of test results and manage data using the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols to keep the lab compliant and safe for staff and patients
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and healthcare teams to support quality patient care and timely reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience as a Laboratory Technician/CLT or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience with sample collection, sample processing, reagent preparation, and laboratory equipment operation
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) and strong data management skills
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a commitment to quality control and laboratory safety
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Phlebotomy experience or prior hospital setting experience is a plus
• Ability and willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT before starting work (required)
