Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound studies including ABI, carotids, renals, abdominal, venous and arterial exams — your imaging matters to patient care
• Conduct lower extremity reflux studies and document accurate findings that guide clinician decisions
• Operate and maintain GE ultrasound equipment and ensure images are archived in MediTech Expanse
• Communicate findings and collaborate with radiology and vascular teams to support efficient, patient-centered care
• Manage complex schedules and caseloads independently — be the reliable go-to vascular expert
• Provide compassionate patient preparation and clear explanations to reduce anxiety and improve exam quality

Qualifications

• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) — required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) — required
• Registered in the state of New Hampshire — required
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) — preferred
• Minimum 2 years of vascular ultrasound experience (as listed)
• Comfortable with GE ultrasound systems and EMR documentation in MediTech Expanse
• Self-starter who can work independently and manage complex studies

Knowledge & Skills

• Vascular Ultrasound techniques (ABI, carotid, renal, abdominal studies)
• Venous and arterial Doppler evaluation, lower extremity reflux studies
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment
• EMR documentation in MediTech Expanse
• Ability to learn pTCO2 testing (trainable) and integrate new procedures
• Strong patient communication and time-management skills
