Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on patient care, assisting with ADLs to preserve dignity and comfort
• Support the ICU team by stocking supplies and preparing rooms for admissions and discharges
• Maintain clean, safe patient environments by performing room cleaning on discharge
• Float within Critical Care units as assigned to ensure consistent, high-quality coverage
• Communicate effectively with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Document care and patient status accurately in EPIC and follow unit-specific protocols

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• COVID-19 vaccination required
• Minimum 2 years of experience, with prior ICU or PCU experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and floating between critical care units
• Ability to complete 2-3 shift unit orientation and follow facility policies

Education

• CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and ADL assistance skills
• Experience working in ICU or progressive care settings
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Knowledge of infection control practices and critical care workflows
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment and handle common ICU diagnoses such as pneumonia, sepsis, respiratory failure, heart failure, stroke, and post-op care
