Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour nights); every other weekend

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and promptly identify rhythm changes to keep patients safe
- Manage and titrate cardiac drips per protocol and physician orders
- Provide high-quality direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and interventions
- Perform and assist with line placements and coordinate dialysis care when needed
- Document care accurately in the medical record and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient plans
- Serve as a reliable team player supporting charge nurses and responding to unit needs on nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Active RN with at least 2 years of recent clinical experience (telemetry or cardiac preferred)
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Strong telemetry experience and comfort managing cardiac drips
- Experience in PCU/SD or Med/Surg and familiarity with line placements and dialysis preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and cover every other weekend as scheduled
- Professional, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Cardiac drip management and titration protocols
- Telemetry equipment and alarm management
- Med/Surg and PCU clinical skills
- Vascular access and line placement familiarity
- Dialysis patient care basics
- Accurate EMR documentation and handoff communication
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced night-shift environment
