Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to promote independence
- Support residents with activities of daily living while preserving dignity and comfort
- Document care and communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team members
- Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions promptly to ensure timely care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required or able to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting preferred but not required
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- CNA certification

- Basic patient care and hygiene practices
- Taking and documenting vital signs
- Infection control and safe handling techniques
- Clear verbal and written communication with residents and clinical staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
