Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams using state-of-the-art equipment to help clinicians make timely, accurate diagnoses
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through excellent communication, screening, and positioning
- Operate MRI systems and optimize pulse sequences to produce diagnostic images while minimizing artifacts
- Collaborate with Radiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and adherence to departmental protocols
- Participate in quality control, equipment checks, and infection prevention practices
- Respond to on-call duties as required, providing reliable imaging support when patients need it most
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (MR) or equivalent credential required upon submission
- Current unencumbered Oregon MRI license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS required
- Radiography background with ARRT RT(R) credential preferred
- Previous hospital or acute care imaging experience preferred
- Ability to work the posted schedule and participate in required on-call rotation
Education
- ARRT (MR) credential (or equivalent) required; radiography training/background preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with MRI protocols, pulse sequences, and safety (including screening for implants/contraindications)
- Strong patient positioning and communication skills to ensure comfort and diagnostic quality
- Familiarity with PACS, DICOM workflows, and basic EMR documentation
- Ability to perform routine QC and equipment checks
- Team collaboration and clear communication with radiologists and clinical staff
- Good judgement in urgent or complex imaging situations
