Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating: Day 4x10 (07:00 AM - 05:00 PM) and Night 4x10 (10:00 PM - 08:00 AM); includes weeknight and weekend on-call coverage; will cover Saturday shift for maternity leave.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams (Duplex, Doppler, Color Flow) with accuracy and compassion
- Conduct arterial mapping, carotid, aorta, dialysis graft and stent studies as indicated
- Document exam findings and maintain patient records using Epic and PACS systems
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic and treatment decisions
- Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite) to ensure reliable operation
- Provide clear patient education and ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Respond to weeknight and weekend on-call needs professionally and promptly
Qualifications
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) required
- State licensure required (must be licensed in Oregon prior to start or able to obtain license)
- Minimum 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience (Duplex/Doppler/Color Flow)
- Proficient charting skills in Epic (charting system required)
- BLS required; CCI RVS and RDCS are preferred
- Comfortable with on-call, weeknight and weekend coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy and hemodynamics
- Skilled in Duplex, Doppler, Color Flow and arterial mapping techniques
- Experience with studies: carotid, aorta, dialysis grafts, lower extremity arterial & venous, stents, arterial graft studies
- Familiarity with imaging equipment and PACS workflows (GE, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite)
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Accurate documentation and ability to work within Epic
