Shift Type: Day 5x8 (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM, five days/week); On-call one weekday per week: 04:00 PM - 07:00 AM (overnight); One three-day weekend per month (Fri-Sun) — Fri 04:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sat & Sun 07:00 AM - 07:00 AM. Weekend availability and on-call coverage required. (Day and rotating overnight/on-call)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Set up imaging equipment and prepare procedure rooms to ensure every case runs smoothly
• Prep vascular access sites and scrub in to maintain a sterile field during procedures
• Provide hands-on assistance for advanced interventional procedures (embolizations, TIPS, stent placement, thrombectomy)
• Obtain and manage central venous access and assist with PICC/port procedures
• Perform ultrasound and fluoroscopy imaging; operate PACS for image retrieval and archiving
• Chart procedure details and patient care thoroughly in Epic to maintain excellent continuity
• Maintain equipment, inventory, and supplies so the team is always ready
• Respond as an integral member of rapid response/code teams when needed

Qualifications

• ARRT (registered technologist) required
• BLS certification required
• Active State license required at time of submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant interventional radiology or special procedures experience
• Epic charting experience required
• Comfortable with fluoroscopy and ultrasound-guided procedures
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience are a plus
• Weekend availability and ability to take scheduled on-call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of interventional radiology procedures and sterile technique
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy, ultrasound and PACS systems
• Skilled at central venous access care and PICC/port maintenance
• Ability to set up equipment, manage inventory, and troubleshoot basic device issues
• Familiarity with isolation precautions and participating in rapid response/code teams
• Comfortable working with adults and geriatric patient populations in acute care settings
• Excellent documentation skills in Epic and strong communication with multidisciplinary teams
