Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients, delivering compassionate, hands-on support
• Provide direct patient care using established hospital methods and procedures
• Support patient and family centered care by communicating clearly and respectfully
• Follow care plans and report changes in patient condition to nursing leadership promptly
• Contribute to a superior patient experience through dependable, high-quality work

Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license at time of submission (required)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (required)
• MI LTC Fingerprinting is a plus if already completed
• Ability to follow facility attendance policy and arrive on time for assigned shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong skills in direct patient care and assisting staff nurses
• Patient and family centered care mindset
• Competence in basic life support procedures (BLS AHA)
• Good clinical documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work under direction of department manager, charge nurse, or team leader
