Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality abdominal, vascular and OB/GYN ultrasound exams with professionalism and attention to diagnostic detail
- Operate ultrasound equipment independently and manage your exam schedule without direct supervision
- Acquire and document diagnostic images, provide accurate measurements and clinical observations
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to ensure comfort and informed care
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams by providing timely, clinically relevant imaging information
- Maintain equipment, follow quality assurance protocols and ensure proper image archiving and labeling
Qualifications
- Double registered — ARDMS registries required (General ABD, Vascular, OB/GYN as specified)
- Proven ability to work independently and manage a variable schedule
- Strong clinical ultrasound skills across abdominal, vascular and OB/GYN modalities
- Current ARDMS credentials (as listed) and readiness to meet site credentialing requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in Ultrasound (Sonography) techniques for ABD, Vascular and OB/GYN exams
- Skilled in independent operation of ultrasound equipment and image optimization
- Knowledgeable in anatomy, pathology recognition and sonographic protocols
- Excellent patient interaction skills and the ability to provide clear clinical information to providers
- Familiarity with PACS and archiving workflows, plus attention to documentation and QA
