Shift Type: To be confirmed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults every day
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
- Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
- Accurately document care and observations in resident charts
- Support mobility, transfers and fall prevention efforts to keep residents safe
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or completion of an approved GNA program (required)
- State GNA registration or eligibility as required by Maryland regulations
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and health screening as required by the facility
- A caring attitude, strong communication skills and the ability to work well on a team
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved GNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and resident dignity
- Basic nursing assistant skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Familiarity with infection control, safety protocols and resident rights
