Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, feeding and personal hygiene while preserving dignity
- Document care accurately and communicate observations to the care team
- Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and other team members to deliver consistent, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Demonstrated ability to work the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach with good communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with direct patient care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Completed state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
- Familiarity with taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Understanding of infection control and patient safety practices
- Comfortable documenting care and communicating with clinical staff
- Dependable time management and the ability to work well in a team
