Shift Type: Primarily daytime coverage, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM; On-call: Friday-Sunday, 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM every 4-5 weekends. Shift type: day_night.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer MRI scanners to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
- Perform MRI/MRA studies (brain, abdomen, spine, cardiac, breast, extremities and more) with attention to patient safety and comfort
- Screen and prepare patients, review histories and contraindications, and ensure appropriate imaging protocols are used
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate, timely imaging interpretations
- Document procedures accurately in Meditech and maintain regulatory and documentation standards
- Respond professionally and reliably for scheduled on-call coverage and urgent imaging needs
Qualifications
- ARRT MRI registered (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience (explicit requirement); 2 years noted in profile
- Experience or comfort performing Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI preferred but not required
- Familiarity with GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer systems preferred
- Experience with Meditech or similar documentation systems a plus
- Willingness to participate in on-call weekend rotation
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of MRI physics and safety practices
- Proficiency in MRI/MRA protocols for brain, spine, abdomen, cardiac, breast and musculoskeletal imaging
- Skill operating GE 1.5T Signa and GE 3T Pioneer scanners
- Patient positioning, IV access coordination and contrast handling awareness
- Solid documentation habits in Meditech and good communication with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to triage urgent imaging requests during on-call coverage
