Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; rotating schedule that includes weekend coverage (every third weekend) — No Call

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for Med-Surg, Oncology, and Hospice patients
- Perform and manage procedures such as wound vac changes, drain removal, IV/PICC care, Foley and NG insertions/removals
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry, escalating changes in patient status appropriately
- Document accurately and efficiently in Meditech to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including clinical care coordinators, LPNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries
- Maintain safe patient ratios and prioritize tasks to keep your unit running smoothly
- Support unit staffing needs by floating between Med-Surg and Telemetry when required
Qualifications
- Active RN license (per state requirements) — ready to practice in Missouri
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience; oncology, med-surg, or telemetry experience preferred
- Comfortable with IV/PICC management, wound care and wound vacs, drain and chest tube care
- Experience with cardiac monitoring and basic telemetry interpretation
- Able to work rotating 12-hour night shifts and meet weekend rotation requirements
- Team-oriented, positive attitude, and focused on patient-centered care
Knowledge & Skills
- Meditech documentation experience
- Oncology and Med-Surg clinical knowledge
- Telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
- IV/PICC line care and management
- Wound care and wound vac familiarity
- Foley and NG insertion/removal competency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills
