Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neuro critical care for patients in the Neuro ICU and IMCU
• Perform focused neurological assessments and communicate changes promptly
• Manage complex monitoring equipment and interpret hemodynamic and neuro data
• Administer medications and titrate therapies per protocols and physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Support safe transitions between ICU and stepdown levels of care while floating as needed
• Document care accurately and maintain required certifications and compliance paperwork

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required with Nursys verification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in neuro critical care or relevant ICU/stepdown specialty
• Complete work history or resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
• Skills checklist, references, and current certification card required
• Badge-appropriate photo and full demographic info loaded into profile as requested

Education

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current facility-required certifications/certification cards (for example BLS/ACLS as applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong neuro assessment skills and familiarity with stroke and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Critical care experience including ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring
• Comfort managing vasoactive drips and complex medication regimens
• Experience in both ICU and stepdown environments and the ability to float between units
• Excellent critical thinking, prioritization and communication skills
