Shift Type: Rotating shifts including day and night with floating between Neuro ICU and IMCU; specific start/end times vary by assignment

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality neuro critical care for patients in the Neuro ICU and IMCU
- Perform focused neurological assessments and communicate changes promptly
- Manage complex monitoring equipment and interpret hemodynamic and neuro data
- Administer medications and titrate therapies per protocols and physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Support safe transitions between ICU and stepdown levels of care while floating as needed
- Document care accurately and maintain required certifications and compliance paperwork
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required with Nursys verification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in neuro critical care or relevant ICU/stepdown specialty
- Complete work history or resume with no gaps greater than 60 days
- Skills checklist, references, and current certification card required
- Badge-appropriate photo and full demographic info loaded into profile as requested
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current facility-required certifications/certification cards (for example BLS/ACLS as applicable)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong neuro assessment skills and familiarity with stroke and intracranial pressure monitoring
- Critical care experience including ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring
- Comfort managing vasoactive drips and complex medication regimens
- Experience in both ICU and stepdown environments and the ability to float between units
- Excellent critical thinking, prioritization and communication skills
