Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, ensuring dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document resident conditions and report changes to the care team
- Support safe transfers and positioning to reduce risk of injury
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the relevant state
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained upon hire
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care and work on a team
- Clear background check and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care skills and hands-on assistance experience
- Good documentation and basic charting skills
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork mindset
- Ability to follow care plans and take direction from nursing staff
