Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care to residents in a rehab/long-term care setting
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Take and accurately record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Support safe transfers and mobility using resident-specific techniques
- Document care and observations in resident charts and communicate effectively during handoff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
- Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and other staff to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (New Mexico preferred or eligible to obtain)
- Experience in rehab or long-term care is a strong plus
- Valid basic CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass facility background checks and meet health screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care basics: ADLs, feeding, toileting, and hygiene assistance
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Measuring and documenting vital signs accurately
- Infection control practices and facility safety standards
- Reliable time management and ability to work well in a team
- Clear documentation and communication during shift reports
