Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams with accuracy and attention to patient comfort
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality images while following radiation safety protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining steps clearly and addressing concerns with empathy
• Collaborate with radiologists and the clinical team to prioritize exams and communicate findings promptly
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow facility policies for image storage and transfer
• Participate in competency testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• ARRT certification (required) — your ticket to professional imaging practice
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program or equivalent clinical training
• Current state licensure/certification as applicable (license/certificate verification required)
• Clean health screening: required immunizations, TB screening, fit test, and drug screen per facility policy
• Comfort with completing Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and checklists

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program (minimum)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with PACS/DICOM workflows and digital imaging systems
• Radiation safety principles and best practices
• Patient assessment, infection control, and safe patient handling
• Good communication skills for patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to perform under the focused pace of an imaging department and adapt to varied caseloads
