Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a licensed nursing assistant
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Document care activities accurately and timely in resident records
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — required
• Eligible to work locally in the Claremont area (local-only assignment)
• Willingness to work evening shifts and cover every other weekend and some holidays
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Successful completion of background check and any facility-required screenings
• Reliable, caring, and committed to high-quality resident care

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an LNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong bedside skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
• Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and residents
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
• Ability to follow care plans and accurately document interventions
• Time management skills to support multiple residents during shift
• Empathy, patience, and respect for resident dignity and independence
