Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents as a licensed nursing assistant
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Support safe transfers and ambulation using proper body mechanics and equipment
- Document care activities accurately and timely in resident records
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver person-centered care
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — required
- Eligible to work locally in the Claremont area (local-only assignment)
- Willingness to work evening shifts and cover every other weekend and some holidays
- Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Successful completion of background check and any facility-required screenings
- Reliable, caring, and committed to high-quality resident care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an LNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong bedside skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
- Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and residents
- Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to follow care plans and accurately document interventions
- Time management skills to support multiple residents during shift
- Empathy, patience, and respect for resident dignity and independence
