Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to promote patient dignity
• Support nursing staff by monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition promptly
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk and maintain independence
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and team members
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver consistent, patient-centered care
• Contribute to a positive facility culture through reliable attendance and professional communication

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant) — required
• T-CNA or travel CNA experience a plus
• Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred (facility may require upon hire)
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding, background check and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care skills (ADLs, mobility assistance, basic clinical observations)
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety best practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Effective verbal communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a busy clinical setting
