Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures for abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal and brain perfusion studies
• Operate Siemens CT equipment and PACS effectively to produce diagnostically excellent images
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and start peripheral IVs when needed
• Respond promptly and professionally to emergent inpatient and ER imaging needs in a Level I trauma setting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient comfort, safety, and accurate documentation
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory and facility standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and promptly respond to emergent imaging requests

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• ARRT certification required (ARRT CT preferred)
• AART Advanced certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience with Siemens and Epic (hard stop)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure Level I trauma / ER environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across teams
• Flu vaccine required per facility guideline (medical exemptions only)

Education

• ARRT certification (CT) required
• BLS certification required
• AART Advanced certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• CT imaging techniques including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine and musculoskeletal CT
• Brain perfusion and vascular CTA special procedures
• Proficiency with PACS and Siemens CT systems
• Experience with Epic charting system
• Contrast media preparation and administration
• Starting peripheral IVs
• Emergency/trauma imaging workflows and protocols
• Ability to prioritize and triage emergent imaging requests
