Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor resident condition and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care with dignity
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active certification or eligibility to be certified in Pennsylvania
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; team player attitude
- Willingness to pass background check and any required health screenings
- Prior caregiving or long-term care experience is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program and current CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care best practices
- Ability to safely assist with transfers and use of mobility aids
- Familiarity with documentation and reporting procedures
- Basic infection control and hygiene practices
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
