Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily living activities
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility with dignity
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
• Support the nursing team with timely, accurate documentation and charting
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families and the care team
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean environment
• Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity and high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active CNA or T-CNA certification (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred where applicable (verify with facility)
• Comfortable providing direct patient care in a long-term/acute care setting
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required trainings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; CNA/T-CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and assisting with activities of daily living
• Familiarity with taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Good clinical observation and the ability to escalate changes appropriately
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
